BIOGRAPHY

​

Joana Brumley has spent nearly 30 years teaching many styles of dance throughout the Virginia tri-cities and Hampton Roads areas. She has implemented dance programs through several parks and recreations, choreographed for marching band auxiliary squads, cheer leading companies, recital based academies, dance competitions, college plays, and has owned and operated two studios. She specializes in creative dance programs, ballet (Cecchetti Method), and modern techniques. She holds a BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University.
